Lusitania Memorial

This monument commemorates the lives of the of 1,198 people who perished on board the Cunard Liner Lusitania on 7th May 1915. Sunk by a German submarine during the First World War, this memorial pays homage to the often forgotten Irishmen who enlisted in World War One.
